Volunteering

We would love to welcome you as a volunteer at the Dearne Electronic Community Village! Volunteering is a great way to get involved with your local community, meet new friends and learn new skills.

There are many different ways in which you can get involved:

• Help with events or training activities at the centre
• Online Web based work
• 1 to 1 Support work
• Admin/Office training
• Assist with marketing and publicity

The Volunteering programme is geared towards the unemployed can give real work experience and help develop skills through training, qualifications and experience.

We believe everyone has something to offer and the more support we get, the more we can offer to our local community.

What’s in it for me?
Volunteering at the DECV will give you a chance to build your skills and work experience with the potential for free training (dependant on your role).
